Official page for the after school program of Balboa High School. We offer academic support, recreational activities, free meals, and community service.

Through our diverse academic, enrichment and recreation offerings the BACR Balboa After School Program helps teenagers become more active, engaged and and civic minded members of the community. Youth have access to free hot meals, academic assistance and innovative classes like 3D Printing, Silk Screening, and Carpentry. YAWAV Application 2018 - 2019 08/06/2018

YAWAV (Young Asian Women Against Violence) are looking for their Peer Leaders this year - and the application is out and running!

YAWAV is a safe space for high school girls to learn about topics like body image/self-esteem, sexual harassment, dating violence, r**e culture, etc. Peer Leaders meet Thursdays & Fridays after school to participate in workshops - and will later create their own workshops to educate their larger K-12 community. Being a Peer Leader is also a paid position.

Through our diverse academic, enrichment and recreation offerings the C*C Balboa After School Program helps teenagers become more active, engaged and civic-minded members of the community. Youth have access to free hot meals, academic assistance and innovative classes like 3D Printing, Silk Screening, and Carpentry.
