It's coming down to the wire on Props B & C and recent polls show that we have a slight lead on defeating both measures. By no means should we let up in our effort to send a message to City Hall about San Francisco's broken housing policies where we are being ask to support a luxury condo development with TAX BREAKS & SUBSIDIES when 60% of all residents of the City have concerns about their own cost of living. TELL CITY HALL TO GET ITS PRIORITIES STRAIGHT BY VOTING NO ON PROP B & C!

Recently, a lot of people have ask me why I'm voting no on Prop B & C or 8 Washington St on the November ballot. We'll in addition to the deceptive advertising about open space for the public, parks, affordable housing and other amenities for the "rest' of San Francisco. I do not support subsides and tax breaks for $5 million dollar condos when 60% of all folks that live in the City have concerns about their own cost of living.

Furthermore, I think it is quite absurd to be ask to support this matter when our own needs around housing in Bayview & District 10 have been met with complete indifference by City Hall. For example, we have lost close to 4,500 homes to foreclosure without a genuine response from the City. We have a lottery system that excludes African Americans and other people of color from securing affordable housing and the City wants to continue to use it despite our success with a another process at Candlestick Heights.

I can go on and on with other examples of broken housing policies in the City for which we get no support in changing but, I think I made the point why you too should vote no on Prop B & C.

Basically, it comes down to the priorities of City Hall when 60% of all people living in San Francisco have concerns about cost of living and we're giving tax breaks & subsidies to build million dollar condos...
