Mountain Lake Park Playground Improvement Project | San Francisco Recreation and Park

Dear Neighbors,
It's time for an update on the Playground Renovation at Mountain Lake Park and we are thrilled to share exciting news with you!
After an extended fundraising and bidding process that just concluded this month, we are pleased to announce that the Recreation and Park Commission will be reviewing the construction contract for CF Contracting to realize our playground in July.
In partnership with SF Rec and Park, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson Architects, the San Francisco Parks Alliance and our friends group FMLPP, we aim to award the contract for the construction of the new playground at Mountain Lake Park shortly after the July Rec Park Commission meeting.
Thanks to all of your generous support, we have successfully met our initial fundraising goals - though we are still accepting donations for a few design alternates to benefit the original design.
We are on schedule to begin construction late summer 2015 and we expect construction to last eight months. We are so grateful for your support in the many ways you've shown it and we are thrilled to be in the final phase of realizing this unusual and fantastic new playground. Happy summer!
regards,
Jen Fetner, Kate Green & Claire Myers

The fundraising campaign for the new playground at Mountain Lake Park is coming to a close in less than a month. It's your last chance to support this fantastic and unusual project. If you haven't donated; please join our many supporters - we only have the last $150,000 to raise to make this playground a reality.
As added incentive we are pleased to announce, thanks to the generosity of three families, a $75,000 Challenge Grant. These families have pledged to match each donation dollar for dollar until we meet our goal of raising the last $150k!
