FLY THE FLAG WITH PRIDE! 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Every element of the Philippine flag tells a story of the nation’s history, ideals, and struggle for freedom. From the three stars representing Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, to the golden sun and its eight rays honoring the first provinces that rose against colonial rule, the flag stands as a powerful symbol of Filipino identity, unity, and patriotism. The colors of the flag likewise reflect the values cherished by the Filipino people: peace, truth, justice, courage, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
As we commemorate National Flag Days and continue the celebration of the 128th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence, may we take pride in the meaning behind our national symbols and the sacrifices they represent.
