THE IRISH GOODBYE ☘️
No announcement.
No dramatic hugs.
No “right we better head.”
You just vanish.
One minute you’re at the bar.
Next minute your coat is gone.
Nobody saw you leave.
Nobody got a warning.
Group chat lights up: “Where are you???”
You’re already home.
Kettle on.
In pyjamas.
Phone on silent.
It’s not rude.
It’s efficient.
Be honest…
Are you guilty of the Irish Goodbye? 👇
