Shared imagination will be celebrated during the first edition of Night of Ideas in San Francisco, co-presented by the San Francisco Public Library, Public Knowledge at SFMOMA, and the French Consulate in San Francisco. For more info, see https://www.nightofideassf.com/
San Francisco's Night of Ideas will be free and open to the public in the Main Library on Saturday February 2 from 7:00 pm to 2:00 am, and include discussions, talks, readings, performances, film screenings, concerts, and much more, all around the theme of Facing Our Time.
We will need dozen of volunteers to help with:
+ checking in pre-registered participants
+ registering participants who did not pre-register
+ checking coats & bags
+ directing & guiding between event sites within the library
+ refreshments
Come volunteer for an hour or two and then join in the fun! To express interest and receive more info as planning progresses, please drop a line to [email protected]. Night Owls especially welcome--it does indeed run until 2:00 a.m.!

San Francisco Public Library is excited to introduce YELL (Youth Engaged in Library Leadership), a new opportunity for teens to give back to your community, learn valuable professional and workplace skills, and make your voices heard.
