Last night, we kicked off our Summer Cadet Program with our annual orientation, and we couldn’t be more excited!

It was inspiring to see a room full of motivated young future leaders eager to learn about leadership, public speaking, community policing, teamwork, and so much more.

Over the next several weeks, these cadets will have the opportunity to develop valuable life skills, build confidence, explore careers in public service, and create lasting friendships.

We are looking forward to an exciting summer filled with learning, growth, and unforgettable experiences. Welcome to the 2026 Summer Cadet Academy! 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️⭐

Our final fishing trip of the season is officially in the books, and what a great season it has been!

A huge thank you to Captain Joe and the incredible crew of the Kitty Kat for once again providing our youth with unforgettable experiences out on the water. We are also grateful to Wipeout Bar & Grill for keeping everyone fueled with delicious lunches throughout the season.

Over the course of our trips, participants cast their lines, reeled in and released fish, learned valuable lessons about conservation, and created lasting memories on the San Francisco Bay.

A special shout-out to our SFPD officers and volunteers whose continued support, mentorship, and dedication help make this program possible year after year.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this another successful season. We can’t wait to get back on the water next year! 🎣🐟⚓️

Another amazing day out on the water with our Fishing Program earlier this week! 🎣☀️

Our youth had an absolute blast aboard the Kitty Kat, enjoying a successful day of catch and release fishing while taking in the beauty of the Bay. From the excitement of reeling in fish to learning new skills on the water, the smiles said it all!

A huge thank you to Captain Joe and the incredible crew of the Kitty Kat for yet another unforgettable trip and for always making our kids feel welcomed, safe, and excited to learn.

We also want to give a special shoutout to Wipeout Bar & Grill for the delicious lunches that helped keep everyone fueled after a great day on the water.

Another great season of SFPAL Flag Football officially wrapped up this weekend! 🏈

Despite the holiday weekend, we had an amazing turnout and loved seeing our athletes out on the field competing, learning, and having fun together.

A huge thank you to all of our dedicated coaches and volunteers for the time, energy, and commitment you poured into our youth throughout the season. Your mentorship and support make programs like this possible.

We are so proud of all of our athletes for their hard work, growth, and sportsmanship this season. We hope everyone has a great summer and we look forward to seeing you all back next season! 💙

It’s hard to believe the season is almost over. Week after week, we continue to watch our athletes grow not only in their skills, but also as teammates, leaders, and young people in our community. The energy, effort, and commitment from everyone involved has made this season truly special.
