Resident Profile: Sallie Lu – TNDC – Affordable Housing Since 1981 For many years she accompanied her singing sister, Jane Lu, on the piano at senior centers and at fashion shows in Chinatown. The younger sister died of bone cancer in 2010.

We hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving Day full of gratitude and turkey. On Wednesday, November 23rd,The San Francisco Senior Center, Project Open Hand, and more than a dozen volunteers served 125 meals to seniors in the Tenderloin Community.

A very special thank you to the Hilton San Francisco Union Square, Rainbow Grocery Cooperative, 9th Street Trader Joe's, and Audrey Louis-Enstrom for making this lunch extra memorable for our seniors. Thank you to Kelly, our pianist, for the wonderful video of our event!
