The initial results are in, and while we didn’t win this time, I am proud of the campaign we ran and deeply grateful for each and every one of you who supported this grassroots citywide effort. Together, our incredible team of volunteers:
- Spread the word across every neighborhood in town.
- Knocked on thousands of doors.
- Distributed literature to tens of thousands of households and businesses.
- Texted tens of thousands of voters.
- Phone banked thousands of people.
- Shared my platform and vision to truly fix our schools.
Your dedication, energy, and belief in this mission have been inspiring. Although this wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, the fight for a better SFUSD continues. Thank you for standing with me and for your unwavering commitment to our students and schools. Let's keep pushing forward.

The Frisc recently published an article on where school board candidates stand on school closures. As I shared in the piece, I believe school closures are necessary due to declining enrollment, but we must approach them with true transparency and an independent fiscal analysis to balance the budget responsibly. Let’s move forward by fully engaging our communities and resourcing our students effectively.

In Mission Local's final "Meet the School Board Candidates," we were asked, "What makes you stand out?" My response highlights my unique perspective as the only K-12 SFUSD graduate in this race, with a lifelong understanding of our schools’ strengths and challenges. My track record in fiscal responsibility and district-wide volunteer work speaks to my commitment to bringing SFUSD out of crisis and into a stable, thriving future.
I encourage everyone to check out all the candidates' answers—an informed vote is a powerful one!

In these last 4 days before Election Day, I’m out meeting as many people as possible. I’ve been out campaigning alongside Sheriff Miyamoto in the Fillmore, West Portal, Castro, and Chinatown neighborhoods, talking to voters about their vision for SFUSD. It’s clear our community wants new school board commissioners who will step up, take accountability, and focus on real solutions for our schools. Let’s make it happen on Tuesday!
