The San Francisco Community College Police welcomes you to the Spring semester. A friendly reminder, classes start on January 10th. We also want to remind you that starting on January 10th., parking citations will be issued if you don't have a parking permit in your vehicle.
SAFETY TIP:
Do not leave visible valuables in your vehicle. A good practice is to take them with you, or lock them in the trunk of your vehicle.

Crime Alert: An attempted robbery occurred on 8/29/2012 at approximately 6:30pm in front of Environmental Horticulture building on Judson Ave. The suspect approached a student from behind and attempted to steal his backpack. The student resisted, suspect punched him in the shoulder and face and ran away.
Suspect Description: Black male, 25-26 yrs. old, 5'6", 165lbs, athletic built, wearing black/white ball cap, white t-shirt, black baggy jeans.

Crime: Robbery With Force
Date: January 24, 2012
Location: 863 Ocean Avenue (under pedestrian bridge)

Summary:
On Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 5:45 p.m., A robbery with force occurred on Ocean Avenue. A student was walking on the 800 block of Ocean Avenue when she was approached by two suspects. The suspects demanded the student's backpack. After getting the backpack, one suspect held the student while the other went through her pockets and took her money. The suspect holding the student threw her to the ground. Both suspects were last seen eastbound on Ocean Avenue.

Suspect #1 is described as a Hispanic male in his 20’s, about 5’6”, skinny build. The suspect was wearing a black and red S.F. Giants jacket.
Suspect #2 is described as a Black male in his 20’s, about 6’.

Safety Alert: 2 reported robberies occurred near Phelan Loop (alley behind firestation) in November. Suspect described as a black male in his 20s, approx. 5'7"-6'5", average build, armed with a handgun and/or a knife. Be aware of your surroundings, avoid walking alone, if possible and report any suspicious activity to SFCCPD.

PARKING REMINDER: There's no more free parking on Ocean Campus.
All vehicles parked in CCSF's lots must display a valid permit / DP Placard.
A One-day parking permit can be purchased from the machines, located in each parking lot. Semester parking permits can be purchased from Student Bank (Conlan Hall Room 104)
