While you are sitting in traffic, the only thing you can do is sit in Bay Area traffic. Take public transit instead and suddenly your commute becomes something else entirely. Catch up on emails, knock out homework, get a head start on the workday or finally finish that book you have been meaning to read. Same amount of time, a whole lot more to show for it.
