The YCE program connects bilingual youth with members of the Chinese community to help them get prepared for disaster.
Youth for Chinese Elderly Program is a unique program in American Red Cross Bay Area. Today YCE come together to promote disaster preparedness to sunset residents with the support from Supervisor Katy Tang & Tzu Chi!

YCEs are volunteering at CCHRC HEALTH FAIR 2014 and take initiative to conduct a disaster preparedness workshop to monolingual senior and participants.
YCEs are also at Southeast community facility commission annual health fair on the same day serving the community!

SUMMER 2014 - JOIN LDC!!
At LDC, youth will become trained community disaster educators, learn how to start a Red Cross Club, attend workshops about diversity and public speaking, and gain experience in team building, leadership roles, CPR and first aid, disaster and emergency preparedness.
