Regional Housing Community Development Corporation is dedicated to building, renovating and managing emergency shelter facilities with support services and

Affordable, supportive housing opportunities for chronically homeless individuals and families.

11/25/2019

So sad to announce, As of 2017, Regional Housing Community Development Corporation was determined to be ineligible to compete for and receive local government funding to further or mission of providing outreach, homeless shelter and housing services. Since this determination, we have withdrawn our registrations with all local, state and federal funding agencies; Therefore, in 2020, our company will become a for-profit housing development corporation, and all of our housing stock will be offered at market rate rental pricing, including the sales of our homes. This was a hard decision to make, but considering that the government has refused to assist us with funding any or part of our programs and services, we will have to operate on funds generated by the new owners of the organization, and they are profiteers. We will make new announcement of the start of our new business.

Hi all,
Please come join the meeting.

As you might already know, there are large developments being planned for the Tenderloin; more than 800 units of market rate apartments, condos, and hotel rooms are in the works right here in the TL.

The developers are planning on keeping their buildings at Market Rate ($$$) (except the few BMR units legally mandated by the Inclusionary Ordinance).
