Today, we walked through the doors of not fully knowing what to expect.

We were greeted with warmth and kindness and escorted to meet our very first child, Paul, a visually impaired young man around 15 years old. As we walked toward his room carrying a Warriors shirt, a basketball, and a medal, we thought we were bringing him gifts.

What we didn’t realize was that he was about to give us something far greater.

The moment we handed him the items, his face lit up in a way that is difficult to put into words. His excitement was pure. Genuine. The kind of joy that reminds you what really matters in life. For a few moments, there were no distractions, no worries about tomorrow, no focus on the challenges he faces. There was only happiness.

As we watched him smile, celebrate, and hold onto those gifts, it became impossible not to think about how much we all take for granted. A simple basketball. A shirt. A medal. Things many of us might overlook became treasures in his hands.

There were moments when it was hard to hold back tears.

Not because of sadness, but because of the overwhelming realization that human connection is one of the most powerful gifts we can give each other.

This is why we do what we do.

Not for recognition. Not for photos. Not for social media.

We do it for children like Paul.

For the moments when a child feels seen.

For the moments when a family knows they are not alone.

For the moments when hope, joy, and love manage to find their way into a room, even when life has been unimaginably difficult.

As we left, we couldn’t stop talking about him. His smile stayed with us. His excitement stayed with us. His spirit stayed with us.

And it reminded us that our mission is bigger than meals, events, or programs. It’s about showing up for people during moments that matter most.

We went there hoping to make a difference in one child’s day.

The truth is, Paul made a difference in ours.

And if given the opportunity, we would spend the rest of our lives creating more moments just like this one. ❤️

This medal run is truly a celebration for our community!

My brother Neal and I connect almost every day, sharing insights and ideas. These small series are created to provide youth and young adults with valuable information about individuals with whom I often have meaningful conversations. They offer a glimpse into our planning process, the motivations behind our commitment to bringing vital programs to our neighborhoods, and a little bit of our personal stories.

Neal Ram is not just a great mentor; he’s a father figure, a hustler, and an incredible supporter. I hold immense respect for him and his selfless efforts to unite communities together. That’s why we collectively support him in his mission to create this opportunity for Hayward.

Us , , , and are passionate about crafting something truly remarkable and memorable for this event. We hope to see you here.

I’m always here to share my journey of building a business and a nonprofit organization whenever you ask.

My career path has been a challenging one, filled with moments where I faced being let go, misunderstood, or even walked away from jobs. While I truly value the 9-5 lifestyle, I’ve come to recognize that I’m on a different path. This realization led me to dedicate countless hours, days, months, and years to mastering financial understanding and developing self-discipline. Achieving this level of success isn’t a matter of luck; it comes from taking responsibility and accountability for everything within your realm.

It’s essential to remain humble and connect with the RIGHT PEOPLE, while always striving to add value to those around you. Let go of EGO and the need for the SPOTLIGHT; what truly matters is the respect for what I’m striving to build for today and the future.

A heartfelt thank you to and for the opportunity to share my insights with the youth about entrepreneurship and philanthropy, alongside two remarkable entrepreneurs, and . Both women are extraordinary and do so much for our community.

I’m grateful for the chance to connect and offer advice to young or old. I’m always here to help anyone who reaches out. I love seeing the right people thrive.
