Familias First was proud to participate in Tri-Counties Regional Center’s California Gathering!

Our CEO, Ruth Tello-Di Leva, and Executive Clinical Director, Alba Novoa, presented “Beyond Translation: Redefining Trust, Engagement, and Inclusion with Latino Families.” Program Manager Victor Campos also highlighted our DDS and Regional Center workshops, which empower Latino families through leadership development, stronger partnerships, and support in accessing services in their preferred language while honoring their cultural values and experiences.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share our work and advance trust, access, and inclusion for Latino families and their communities.

Today is World Mental Health Day. Created in 1992 by the World Federation for Mental Health, this day brings people together to learn, to break down stigma, and to speak up for better mental health care around the world.

At Familias First, we believe everyone deserves to feel seen and supported. So today, reach out to a friend, a family member, or a co-worker and ask how they are really doing. Then be gentle with yourself too. Small acts of care add up, and every one of us can do our part.
