Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is the largest, most active, and fastest-growing pro-liberty organization on America's college campuses.
With more than 750 YAL chapters and 250,000 youth activists nationwide, YAL seeks to identify, educate, train, and mobilize young people committed to winning on principle. This is not a new beginning but a continuation of a youth movement already brewing in this country. Our objective is to facilitate its success. The past few days, many people from Young Americans for Liberty have been feeling the effects of the blow back of the horrendous actions YAL’s former President has committed.
I want to clarify that the actions of a few do not reflect or represent us as an organization and movement as a whole. I am proud to say that the board of directors and Amanda (HR) has made a swift decision to put the two top people (President and Vice-President of Grassroots) on administrative leave.
This morning (01/13/20), the board of directors terminated Cliff Maloney from his former position.
We take these allegations very seriously, and any misconduct DOES NOT belong in our organization, nor does it belong in the Liberty Movement.
What we can do now is be better in the actions we take moving forward in ensuring all of our members feel welcome and, most importantly, safe. If you were involved in an incident, please contact our third-party HR representative Amanda as she has handled this situation very swiftly; 703.338.7176 or [email protected]

"Europe’s march towards state-enforced, mass-scale censorship is all too familiar to us now. And yet, there are still moments when we should be shocked afresh by how far we’ve come in such a short period of time. The outrageous case of Päivi Räsänen is such a moment." --Paul Coleman
Europe: death by censorship We need to fight back against the new censorship or risk losing the most precious liberty of all.

"The Iraq War was a disaster. The interventions in Libya and Syria were awful, too. These were immoral ventures lacking in geopolitical coherence. If you want to argue against them, argue against them. Don’t cynically use Islamist terrorism to make your point. This new terror is not driven by any kind of analysis or passion regarding Western militarism overseas – it is driven by a disturbingly intolerant and hateful nihilism that views the West and its inhabitants as evil. To witness such terror and chalk it up to anti-imperialism is stupid and shameful." --Brendan O'Neill
Stop making excuses for Islamist terror Jeremy Corbyn’s London Bridge comments were stupid and shameful.

Back in May, Andrew Neil gave Ben Shapiro a grilling (and some of you thought Neil was being unfair). This week he grilled Jeremy Corbyn, the leader of the Labour Party.
No apology from Corbyn over anti-Semitism claims The Labour leader says racism is a "poison" and he wants to work with all communities to eliminate it.
