My friend and fellow Chief, Senior Chief Brandon House, is going through a tough time as his teen son was diagnosed with STAGE 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma while visiting his mother in Texas. His son is receiving treatment in Texas, while Senior Chief House is stationed in California with his wife and other children. This means that they will need to travel often over the next year to visit his son. As a navy family, we understand that this will be financially difficult for them, and we are reaching out to ask for your support.
Senior Chief House is a humble man and is only asking for prayers for his son at this time. However, as a community, we can do more to help. Any donations you can make will go towards supporting Senior Chief House and his family with any current and future needs that may arise. No family should have to go through this alone, and we can make a difference in their lives.
Senior Chief House has always looked out for us, and now it's our turn to look out for him and his family. We are asking for your support at this time to help the House family during this difficult period. Even the smallest donation can make a difference, and we appreciate any help you can provide.
Thank you for your generosity and support. β€οΈπ

ππ΄ Happy National Nap Day, everyone! π΄π
If you're feeling sleepy in the Navy from working too dang hard, fear not! National Nap Day is the perfect excuse to take a quick snooze and recharge your batteries. ππ€
πͺWe know that serving in the Navy can be physically and mentally demanding, with long hours and high-stress situations. But did you know that a nap can actually help you perform better and reduce the risk of mistakes and accidents? It's true! π―
So don't be afraid to take a break and catch some Z's. Whether you find a quiet corner to rest, use a sleep mask and earplugs, or take a nap on your bunk, prioritize your rest and refresh your mind and body. π
π€π΄π’ And remember, even though we may be sleepy sailors, we're still strong and resilient! πͺπ¨ββοΈπ©ββοΈ Happy napping, everyone! π€π΄π’

π In honor of Women's History Month, I want to remind everyone that being feminine doesn't mean you can't be tough! As a military woman, I am proud to show that you can be both strong and feminine. π©ββοΈππͺ
πΈ Whether I'm in uniform or out, I love embracing my femininity with cute dresses, stylish makeup, and chic accessories. It's all about balance! πΊ
πΊπΈ So to all my fellow military sisters out there, don't be afraid to express your feminine side! We can serve our country with strength and grace. Let's continue breaking down barriers and paving the way for future generations of strong women. π

With utmost conviction, I dare say that my training at Assault Craft Unit Five was truly remarkable, surpassing even the navigation component. The arduous task of expeditiously installing and activating navigation equipment amidst pressing time constraints undoubtedly tested my mettle like no other challenge in my naval career. Furthermore, the pinnacle of my illustrious naval career has been my involvement in numerous missions during my two deployments to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Djibouti. Each assignment presented its own set of unique challenges, which not only tested my limits but also fostered my growth as a skilled Hoover craft Navigator. The experiences I gained throughout those deployments have undoubtedly contributed to my profound understanding of resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity

As I prepare to retire from the Navy, I find myself feeling a mix of emotions. I am both anxious and happy about this new chapter in my life, but I'm also sad to be leaving behind a career that has been such a huge part of my identity.
This picture of me working reminds me of all the incredible experiences I've had during my time in the Navy. From serving my country to traveling to different parts of the world, I am so grateful for everything this career has given me.
But as I look ahead to retirement, I'm also excited about the new opportunities that await me. I can't wait to spend more time with my family, pursue my hobbies and interests, and explore all the things I haven't had a chance to do while serving in the Navy.
It's a bittersweet feeling, saying goodbye to something that has been such a significant part of my life. But I'm ready for this new adventure and all the possibilities that come with it.
