Yesterday, we launched ‘Game On, San José’ at my old stomping grounds—the Boys and Girls of Silicon Valley Smythe Clubhouse!

It’s amazing to see our city come together with local sports teams like the San Jose Earthquakes and Sharks, alongside community partners, to create more opportunities for our youth to stay active, build friendships, and learn lifelong lessons.

Playing basketball as a kid made a huge difference in my life. That’s why I believe when we invest in our kids early—and consistently—we help them grow into strong, confident leaders.

Yesterday, the Welch Park Neighborhood Association held their annual volunteer appreciation dinner! Over 40 volunteers were recognized for their dedication to our community. They all take the time out of their busy schedules to transform the neighborhood by supporting the Second Harvest food distribution, monthly litter pick ups, and other events organized by the neighborhood association!
