Bipolar disorder is a serious mental illness that causes unusual shifts in mood, ranging from extreme highs (mania or “manic” episodes) to lows (depression or “depressive” episode).

We are pleased to announce that William Yu has joined the County of Santa Clara Behavioral Health Services Department as our new Financial Administrative Services Manager (FASM). William brings over 15 years of public-sector experience in financial management, budgeting, and organizational leadership, making him a valuable addition to our team. Most recently, he served as Assistant to the City Manager for the City of San José, where he successfully oversaw the development of the $1.9 billion operating budget.
In his new role, William will manage key financial functions, including Database Administration, Financial Planning and Budget Oversight, and Contracts, Finance, and Reporting. We look forward to the leadership and expertise he will bring to our department, as he supports our mission to make a positive impact on the community.
