Lantern League is a Women's Giving Circle. What is a Women's Giving Circle? We may not all be individually wealthy, but we hold great wealth in common.

Across the United States, groups of women are initiating and participating in giving circles — groups of individuals who pool their charitable gifts to fund projects that improve the quality of life in their communities. With their collective gifts, these women are major donors, and they are helping to “grow” women as philanthropists.

Did you get a chance to chat with any of our friendly Lantern League steering committee members during the annual meeting last month? (See photo.) We welcome you to join them, since a few are getting “termed out” soon. It’s a great opportunity to connect with others while you help your community. No matter what your interest, there's something for everyone. Committees include grants, membership, hospitality and communications, to name a few. Commitment is reasonable, and orientation materials make getting up to speed easy. And you can be brand new to Lantern League, too! To learn more, contact Lantern League chair Anne Naragon at [email protected].
