In honor of National Veterans and Military Families Month, AARP Michigan's popular “Learn a Latte” series returns with a virtual event on how self-expression through art can be therapeutic for veterans.
Art has the power to bring veterans together, unleash their creativity and support healing in those coping with PTSD, anxiety and other traumas. Hear stories about art uniting veterans and learn a few simple art techniques as we explore the effectiveness of art as therapy. Be sure to bring pencils, markers or other writing instruments and paper!
