🌈 6/1 RTSV Celebrates Pride in June
June is Pride Month, and RTSV is grateful to our LQBTQ+ community members including our staff, volunteers, clients, and most especially our community's LGBTQ+ elders who paved the way for our communities to be more inclusive and add richness with their experiences, memories, and stories.

During Pride month, we celebrate how our community has grown stronger thanks to our diverse neighbors who bring vibrance to our neighborhoods.

🚶🏽‍♀️6/5 Older Adults Resource Fair at the Color Walk
Join us at Lake Cunningham during the Color Walk for a resource fair to have your questions about applying for free home repairs answered by our team.

🌟 6/19 RTSV Office Closed for Juneteenth
In observance of Juneteenth, the RTSV office will be closed on Friday, June 19th. We hope you have a wonderful long weekend and we look forward to continue serving our community on Monday, June 22.

We hope you have a wonderful long weekend! As a reminder, in observance of Memorial Day, RTSV’s office will be closed Monday 5/25.

We look forward to reopening the office and getting back to serving the community on Tuesday 5/26.

With only 16 days left until out 5/31 deadline, we’re looking for your help in taking us to the finish line for our $35,000 goal! We’re raising $35,000 in honor of serving our community for 35 years, bringing repairs to our neighbors and families like Viet and Kim.

Viet Nguyen immigrated from Vietnam as a refugee by boat to the US where he met his wife, Kim. They are proud of their 4 sons, the youngest of whom navigates life with challenges that are a testament to the Nguyens’ resilience: he has developmental delays, multiple health issues, and requires help with every part of his daily life.

After years of putting their family first, the house needed repair. Your support brought a wheelchair ramp, roof replacement, and an updated bathroom with a toilet replacement, tub conversion, and grab bar installations to The Nguyens’ home.

We are so grateful to have already raised $32,600! With just $2,400 left to go, we’re counting on you to help us reach our goal. A gift of any amount goes a long way and helps us continue serving more of our neighbors like Viet and Kim: https://rebuildingtogethersv.org/donate/

We’re celebrating Affordable Housing Month and Older Americans Month all through May! Catch us in Santa Clara on Friday 5/15 for the Be Strong, Live Long Health Fair and on Saturday 5/16 at the Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Senior Health Fair.

These events are the perfect way to talk with the team about applications for free home repairs, have your questions answered about applying, or touch base with us on how to get involved. We can’t wait to see you there!

Happy Affordable Housing Month from the Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley team! We're celebrating all month long with events that bring awareness around affordable housing challenges and issues that our programs have been addressing since 1991.

Today, we partnered with SV@Home, The City of Gilroy, and The City of Morgan Hill to bring our team of RTSV All-Stars to you for a free lunch and learn event. Great job, team!🙌🏽
