As part of its mission to create a sustainable headquarters, the foundation lowered its carbon footprint by installing roof-mounted solar panels, car charging stations, and automatic shade control, among many other amenities.

The scope included ICS outfitting numerous large and small meeting rooms, and assembly spaces with state-of-the-art audio visual systems for both presentations and video teleconferencing. Signal routing throughout the space was accomplished using Crestron DigitalMedia™ products, which provide an ability to accommodate both analog and digital video, although HDMI is predominate among the David and Lucile Packard Foundation users.

ICS is excited to be doing the Design-Build Fire Alarm/Life Safety for Phase 1 of the Kilroy at Oyster Point Project in South San Francisco. We are installing an Edwards EST-3 system. The system is a 4 node distributed voice evacuation with multiple smoke control zones, multiple remote annunciators as well as multiple evacuation zones.

The flexibility of the EST-3 software was key to accomplish the various sub-system zoning and smoke control configurations.

completed various AV projects for the San Jose Convention Center including creating concert-quality sound that is all on one unified platform. The speakers for the entire facility are controlled via iPad through a QSC Q-SYS mobile app.

ICS completed the installation of the AV technology for Chou Hall, an exciting addition to the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. The six story student-centered academic building is designed to enhance learning and foster collaboration.

This project consisted of AV systems for eight tiered lecture spaces, seven flex classrooms, 31 breakout rooms (for impromptu collaboration), a café and a large event space.

to the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, where ICS installed the audio visual system through centralized control rooms, which facilitates the ability to transmit the activities in any teaching or lecture space. ICS also equipped the event space with a 22’ x 9.5’ LED video wall manufactured by Primeview that transmits clear, crisp bright images. This large format display was created using LED video tiles. The space is designed to accommodate a variety of uses, such as student meetings, presentations, and entertainment.

ICS completed many different projects for the San Jose Convention Center including reworking and expanding the existing sound system, and providing digital signage throughout the convention center.

ICS Installed Audio Video Systems in for the new Global Foundries administrative offices in Santa Clara, located in the six-story Gateway Building. ICS completed the AV build out, which occurred on five of the six floors. A significant amount of work on the project was compressed to a two week period over the holidays.
The ICS AV project emcompassed a total of 47 rooms, including 43 conference rooms, two executive boardrooms and two training rooms. Crestron AV control systems were used throughout the facility, along with Crestron DM systems for signal distribution and management. ICS installed Biamp DSPs throughout the facility.
