Applications are now open for the SCCOE School Counselor Residency Program’s second cohort—an innovative, affordable pathway to earn your Master of Arts in Counseling and Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling in just 18 months.
In partnership with UMass Global, residents gain hands-on clinical experience with expert mentorship while completing graduate coursework, and receive $25,000 in grant funding in exchange for a four-year service commitment in Santa Clara County. With limited spots available, we encourage early applications.
Next cohort begins: January 2027
Priority application deadline: June 1st, 2026
