We would like to remind everyone that Disability Awareness Day is coming up on Thursday, October 1st, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The event will be held at the San Jose City Hall Rotunda and Plaza. It is a celebration of diversity, awareness, and empowerment for persons with differing disabilities. The mission of the Disability Awareness day event is to build an integrated community by empowering people with differing abilities to overcome barriers through access to resources, education, and employment opportunities, and increasing the appreciation of people with differing abilities by showcasing their talents and gifts. We encourage all who can to join us for this 8th Annual Disability Awareness Day!
