Friends and acquaintances may not always recognize the unique supports and challenges that come with raising a child with special needs. But through shared understanding, common experiences, and their childrenβs love of play and connection, several families served by Children and Family Services (CFS) have formed meaningful and lasting bonds. π

Priscilla joined Hope's Mental Health department as an intern in 2024 and, just weeks after graduating from Cal State East Bay, stepped into a full-time Clinician role. Her path into the field was shaped by personal experience, a passion for marriage and family therapy, and a commitment to meeting clients where they are.

π Celebrating Pride Month with Our Community
Hope participants and staff came together this month to celebrate Pride in style with fun giveaways, a photo booth, dancing, and music filling both of our sites with energy and joy.
One moment that stuck with us: a participant shared what Pride means to him: "respecting people's choices and being free." π Thank you to our incredible staff for bringing these celebrations to life! π

The 2nd Annual Crystal Ball Dance was a wonderful success! On June 20, 2026, Hope Services and San Andreas Regional Center (SARC) came together to host a special evening for adults with developmental disabilities, their families, caregivers, and supporters β filled with dancing, friendship, and celebration.
