We are honored to share that HopeSTUDIO has been selected to participate in Filoli's 2026 Art Walk!
The event brings together talented artists and makers from across the region, and we are incredibly proud that HopeSTUDIO artists will have the opportunity to showcase their handwoven creations alongside artwork by HopeSTUDIO artist Michael Lauer in the beautiful setting of Filoli's gardens.
For our artists, events like this are about more than displaying artwork—they are a chance to share their creativity, connect with the community, and be recognized for their talent and craftsmanship. We are deeply grateful to Filoli for providing a platform that celebrates artists of all backgrounds and abilities and for creating opportunities for our artists to share their work with thousands of visitors.
Join us July 25–26 for a weekend of art, inspiration, and community. Stroll through Filoli's stunning gardens, discover incredible local artists, and stop by to meet the talented artists of HopeSTUDIO.

Since joining Hope in 2022, Jesse Ross has been on a remarkable journey, and we couldn't be prouder of how far he has come.
When Jesse first arrived, speaking up didn't come easy. Today, he engages with confidence, advocates for himself, and has built genuine, lasting friendships along the way. Known for his kind and considerate nature, Jesse brings a quiet warmth to everyone around him.
Outside of programming, Jesse is passionate about puzzles, Sonic, and One Piece. Over time, he has also made meaningful strides in stepping outside of his comfort zone — becoming more engaged with others and the activities around him with each passing month.
What has set Jesse apart is his consistency and dedication. Every Wednesday, without fail, he showed up to job class asking thoughtful questions, following up diligently, and checking in on his progress. That kind of commitment speaks volumes.
And now, it has paid off in the best way possible.
🎉 Please join us in congratulating Jesse on his newest milestone: he is now an official employee at the Naval Postgraduate School! Jesse has taken on his role with tremendous drive, patience, and a true willingness to learn. His journey is a powerful reminder of what becomes possible when determination meets opportunity.
We are so incredibly proud of you, Jesse. This is just the beginning. 💙

Hope Services was proud to once again support and participate in DisCo at the Capitol, hosted by The Arc of California — a two-day event celebrating advocacy, community, and inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Day one featured a special reception with Lou Correa, recognition of the 60th anniversary of California’s regional center system, and an evening filled with music, dancing, and connection.
On day two, our team joined advocates from across the state in meetings with elected officials and legislative staff to help elevate the voices and experiences of the disability community. We were grateful for the opportunity to connect with staff from Patrick Ahrens and Senator Dave Cortese offices as we continue advocating for inclusion, opportunity, and vital services.
Events like DisCo at the Capitol are a reminder that advocacy can be joyful, community-driven, and deeply impactful. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event so special!

For many individuals with IDD, the path to employment begins with a daunting question: What happens to my benefits if I start working?
The relationship between earned income and Social Security benefits is complex, and for many, the fear of losing critical support can feel like an insurmountable barrier standing between them and their career goals. But employment is about so much more than a paycheck. It's about independence, quality of life, and the freedom to be an active, valued member of the community.
That's where the Advocacy and Work Incentive Manager comes in: breaking down that barrier one conversation at a time. Learn more about this exciting new role at Hope Services and how Chantell is paving the path forward, empowering participants and their families with the knowledge of their rights and the confidence to pursue the full, connected lives they deserve: https://loom.ly/dfcMNwc.
