APIFSA is comprised of faculty and staff whose primary focus are on issues pertinent to the Asian Pacific Islander (API) community at SJSU.
APIFSA emerged to continue the work of the Asian Pacific American Staff and Faculty Association (APASFA) and Asian Pacific Islander Caucus (APIC). The purpose and mission of APIFSA were adopted from APASFA.

The time has come to stop grouping students of different backgrounds together when compiling school data. That’s why I’m proud to introduce the All Students Count Act, which will require more specific performance reporting about students’ race, gender, and disabilities. For example, without better reporting for the dozens of distinct groups that fall under the term “Asian,” our school systems will continue to erase the unique needs, histories, and challenges facing Asian American and Pacific Islander students.

If enough people sign up we can get up to 25gb extra space free.
