The Umunhum Conservancy is a non-profit corporation dedicated to preserving the historic Radar Tower atop Mt. The Tower is a landmark visible to over a million people a day; it is the most visible remaining artifact of the Almaden Air Force Station, a Cold War era radar station protecting California from attack by air.
