SJPL’s mission is to foster lifelong learning and ensure that every member of the community has access to a vast array of ideas and information. Since the first five years of a child’s life are the most critical in terms of learning and development, the Library is committed to prioritizing early education services to ensure the community has access to the resources it needs to help young children from birth to five in San José become lifelong learners.
