October is Manufacturing Month!

During yesterday evening’s City Commission meeting, City of San Juan elected officials issued a proclamation officially recognizing October 2026 as Manufacturing Month.

San Juan EDC Executive Director Jorge Garcia had the honor of presenting the proclamation to Belinda Vargas, Career and Technical Education (CTE) Director and Coordinator for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD (PSJA ISD).

Through career and technical education programs, PSJA ISD continues to prepare the next generation of professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today’s growing industries.
