“They’re precious, and we are responsible for our seniors.”

For Kay, a volunteer with SOS Meals on Wheels for four years, it’s about making sure our older neighbors feel connected and cared for.

“It’s giving the seniors another chance to communicate with the volunteers because usually they are lonely, they are at home, family members are working, and so the only point of contact are the volunteers that deliver the meals to them.”

This week, we welcomed longtime volunteers and program supporters to pack and deliver special meals to our seniors in honor of our 10 millionth meal.

We’re proud to celebrate this incredible milestone in the same year as our 60th Anniversary, and even prouder to serve our older neighbors.

Thank you to KRON4 Digital and Philippe Djegal for celebrating this milestone with us!
