WATER SERVICE NOTICE – SCHEDULED CONSTRUCTION

Crystal Clear Special Utility District (CCSUD) will be performing scheduled construction beginning at approximately 8:30 AM on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

During this time, customers near FM 1101 in the affected area may experience low water pressure or a temporary interruption of water service while the work is being completed.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we continue working to improve the reliability and quality of service provided to our customers.

Per our courtesy notification sent out Friday, 10/16/26, CCSUD will begin performing scheduled construction work on 10/19/26 starting at 8:30 am. During this period, customers in the affected area may experience low water pressure or a temporary interruption of water service while the work is being completed. We apologize for any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we continue improving the reliability and quality of service provided to our customers.

A leak has been identified on FM 1101. This will result in low to no water pressure for customers in the surrounding areas including Engler Dairy Rd, Franch Rd, Malmsten Rd, and Dietert Rd. Our team is actively working to repair the issue and restore normal water service as quickly as possible. Our crew will remain on-site until water service has been restored. We appreciate your patience and understanding while these repairs are completed.
Due to the emergency leak repair, we will also be sending a Boil Water Notice:
Due to emergency leak repair, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required Crystal Clear Special Utility District (PWS ID 0940015) public water system to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption. For example, washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etcetera. Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions.
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.

In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the public water system officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Once the boil water notice is no longer in effect, the public water system will issue a notice to customers that rescinds the boil water notice in a manner similar to this notice.

Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail.

The shelter-in-place order for Navarro Ranch has been lifted following the natural gas leak. Residents may resume normal activities.

EMERGENCY ALERT:
SHELTER IN PLACE – NAVARRO RANCH

A natural gas leak has been reported in the Navarro Ranch area. As a precaution, residents in the affected area are directed to SHELTER IN PLACE until further notice.

What You Need to Do:

* Stay indoors and keep others inside.
* Close all windows and exterior doors.
* Avoid the affected area and follow instructions from emergency personnel.
* Do not smoke, light matches, or use open flames near the affected area.
* Monitor official emergency management channels for updates.

If you smell gas indoors, or suspect gas is entering your building, leave immediately if you can do so safely. Avoid operating electrical switches or equipment. Once safely away, call 911.

Please avoid the area.

Residents in the Navarro Ranch area in Seguin have been told to shelter in place following a reported natural gas leak, according to Guadalupe County officials.

Customer service isn't always easy. You are often the first to hear concerns, answer difficult questions, and help customers navigate challenging situations. Yet you continue to show up every day with a commitment to serving our community.

We couldn't be prouder of this team. I know the work you do isn't always seen, but I want you to know it is noticed, valued, and genuinely appreciated.
