Our offices will resume normal business hours on Monday, June 22, 2026. Juneteenth serves as an opportunity to reflect on the importance of freedom, equality, and continued progress toward a more inclusive future.

On June 9, 2026, we participated in Local Heroes Night at Chase Center in San Francisco. The first public safety and law enforcement recruitment event of its kind was held on the concourse during a Golden State Valkyries game. Several agencies were represented, primarily police departments and the Navy, and we were the only probation department in attendance. It was a great opportunity to connect with community members, answer questions, and showcase the many rewarding career opportunities available in public safety. The Golden State Valkyries defeated the Phoenix Mercury.

On July 30, 2026, we will be hosting a Free Tattoo Removal Event in partnership with the New Skin Tattoo Removal Program. This event is intended to support individuals who are working toward new opportunities by helping remove visible tattoos that may create barriers to employment, education, or personal growth. We will be able to serve clients who are currently on, or have previously been on, adult or juvenile probation. Clients can scan the QR code and complete the referral form. Once submitted, their spot will be secured.

Yesterday, we participated in the annual County of Marin Heart Walk 2026, which took place at two locations: the Civic Center and West Marin. We joined the Civic Center Heart Walk, which was a great opportunity to step away, get moving, and connect with employees from different departments. There were food, health, and wellness vendors on site, along with a live music band. Most importantly, the County exceeded its $12,000 fundraising goal.
