You are invited to join your neighbors on April 22nd at 6:00 PM at the Marinwood Community Center where you will learn how to create a Firewise USA Community in your local neighborhood, on your block, or on your street!

Hosted by the Marinwood CSD Fire Commission in support of the Marinwood CSD Fire Department, this informative session is intended to educate and encourage local residents to take meaningful action by forming a recognized Firewise USA Community. Firewise USA is a national program developed by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) in collaboration with the USDA Forest Service and state forestry agencies, including CAL FIRE.

Join us this Friday at the Marinwood Community Center for the Christmas concert of the century! The Merry Gentlemen (featuring 4 of the Bay Area’s most talented jazz musicians) will bring the house down with jazzed up renditions of all your holiday favorites (and even some non-favorites, too!) This concert promises to warm your hearts and jingle your bells; please plan accordinlgy.

Besides enjoying all the top-notch music, children will have a chance to share their wishes and get photos with Santa, sip hot cocoa, and unleash their creativity with fun holiday crafts.
Admission is free, but sprinkle a little generosity our way, as your donations will help fund future Marinwood Recreation events and keep our community spirit shining bright!

Santa’s mailbox is officially open at the Community Center! Drop off your letter and make sure to include your return address for Santa to reply! 🎅🏽 Santa’s mailbox will be open until December 17th!

Congratulations to Carole Haan on winning the Viewers Choice Award at our Fall Art Show! (Pictured on slide one) Thank you to all the artists and the art show attendees that made last Saturdays event so special! As always, we appreciate Susan Press for curating another wonderful show!

Join us next Saturday from 3-7pm for our Fall Art Show at the Marinwood Community Center. Admire works from over 50 local artists with the theme “A Touch of Red”. Free admission for all! Grab a glass of wine while you wander the works! (Donations greatly appreciated for beverage service). See you all next weekend!

The Marinwood Rec. Department thanks YOU for attending our Halloween Harvest Fest last Friday evening. We hope everyone had a hauntingly good time! We also extend our deepest thanks to the Las Gallinas Lions Club for generously donating the pumpkins and helping out at the festival. Our next event is the Marinwood Art Show on Saturday, October 25th, see you there!
