In November โ€˜24 the Marin County Jail got a major facelift, due to the effort of Georgia Stahl-Ricco

Georgia is the 7th female to earn Eagle Scout in Troop 1015. Georgia was recently honored for her hard work and dedication to the community.

Georgia, along with members of her Troop and boys Troop 15 have worked alongside and the Marin County Parks Landscape Architects to ensure that California native plants are used in this project. The troop updated irrigation and replaced the soil to ensure a long life of the plants used.

The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office is an amazing host and put together a fantastic day of scenarios and drills to build experience and utilize various training aids and equipment.

Marin SRT was able to participate in a total of 10 different skill-based exercises, including multiple scenarios, long-line below Sonoma Sheriff's Henry 1 helicopter, a physical agility course and a shooting competition where our Team won Top Shot.

Each year the Marin County Sheriff's Office honors the brave men and women who have lost their lives in the line of duty. We are proud to celebrate each year with members of our partner agencies throughout the County and remember those locally and nationally who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

We will always remember our fallen, Deputies Jim Mathieson (EOW 7/19/2011) and Ryan Zirkle (EOW 3/15/2018).
