After over a decade of planning and public input, a major mixed-use residential and community-serving development in Strawberry is scheduled for a public hearing and approvals at the next Board of Supervisors meeting.
On June 9, the board will make a final decision on the proposed redevelopment of the former Golden Gate Theological Seminary property. The 337-unit proposal from North Coast Land Holdings would include a mix of housing types including senior care, childcare facilities, continued educational use and preserved open space. 70% of the 101-acre site would be preserved as a recreational or open space. 70 units would be offered as below-market-rate housing at 80% of area median income ($168,100 for a household of four).
The meeting takes place at the Marin County Civic Center in San Rafael, Suite 330 and is also available online.
