Colonel Luke R. Donohue (U.S. Army-retired) will serve as the keynote speaker for Marin County’s annual Veterans Day ceremony on Monday, November 11, inside Exhibit Hall at the Marin County Fairgrounds in San Rafael.

The doors will open at “zero nine hundred” (9 AM) and a 30-minute concert of patriotic music by the Las Gallinas Valley Sanitary District Non-Marching Band, fondly known as the Sewer Band, will kick off the event at 9:30 AM. The ceremony then starts at 10 AM.

Join us for a morning bayside hike beginning at Blackie's Pasture (you can't miss the swaybacked horse statue standing in the field) off of Tiburon Blvd. This hike is hosted by the Men & Boys Action Team of the Su***de Prevention Collaborative. This is an opportunity to get to know one another and learn more about resources to support your mental health, recovery and wellbeing. For those who self-identify as male and are 13 y/o+. Local military veterans organizations in Marin County are inviting the community to join them in paying respects to fallen servicemembers during a Memorial Day event starting at 9 AM Monday, May 27, in the Exhibit Hall at the Marin County Fairgrounds.

The ceremony’s guest speaker is Mike McCarron, a former U.S. Navy flight officer and retired captain in the U.S. Navy Reserves.

Saturday, November 11th, Local VFW Commander will serve as keynote speaker for Marin County's annual Veterans Day ceremony held at the military monuments at the Marin County Civic Center. The ceremony begins at 9 am.
