We are closed for the week! I know reliability is so important to all of our ABCC family but we feel that it would be irresponsible to stay open in such scary and unpredictable time.
We will continue to go by the recommendation of the Marin County Office of Education and the CDC. I will be updated our plans week by week.
Please understand we are closing for the safety of our little friends and their families.
I hope everything settles down soon and we can get back to playing soon.

Appleberry Beginnings Child Care is based out of a fun, safe and clean home in the Lucas Valley/Marinwood community. Set up a time to swing by and play!
After 4 wonderful years of serving the families of the Marina Bay Community, Play Date with Kate has moved from the East Bay to Marin County and has become Appleberry Beginnings Child Care! ABC is licensed through the State of California to have up to 8 children at a time, however we keep our provider to child ratio 1:3. All toys and equipment have been purchased through Lakeshore Learning Supply

Baby Week was filled with lots of activities! We welcomed two new littles last week and wanted to have a reminder of how we can be kind, helpful and gentle to our Baby Friends. Our Big Friends helped us wash the baby toys so they were clean for little hands and there was a sticker project, Apple Muffin making and Chex Mix assembly.

Happy New Year! We are kicking off 2020 with SMILE week! There certainly have been lots of smiles this week, we have celebrated Gās 1st Birthday, welcomed Baby R and had many friends reach new milestones.

On National Puppy Day our sweet Mr. Jones crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Mr. Jones came to us as a 2 year old rescue foster dog in 2002 and never left. Nobody could resist his s***k and that snaggle tooth made him unforgettable. He loyally watched over our family (and defended us from all the neighborhood squirrels) for the past 16 years and is already greatly missed.
It's been a heartbreaking day but we are comforted knowing that although he has slowed down a bit in the last few years, he was still s***ky up until yesterday and was simply too tired to go on today.
We love you Mr. Jones. Thank you for all the love and sweet memories you gave us. š

It's been so rainy this week we have had pancakes almost everyday! Today Mr. Leprechaun made them green! āļøš
