With multiple fire calls being reported across San Saba County, we are asking everyone to be especially cautious. Dry conditions can allow a small spark to become a fast-moving fire very quickly.

🔥 Avoid outdoor burning. ⛓️ Secure trailer chains and anything that could drag and create sparks. 🚜 Use extra caution with mowing, welding and equipment. 🚒 Give firefighters, emergency vehicles and equipment plenty of room to work.

Please keep our firefighters and first responders in your prayers as they work in difficult conditions to protect our communities. And please do your part to help prevent the next fire while they work to contain the ones already burning.

For further information, you can also check out the Texas A&M Forest Service page for future updates.
