We hit Union Meadows prior to the short rain storms today and were treated to a wonderful, sunny walk through the trails. They were pristine, with only one piece of garbage and some fishing line that had gotten caught near the water. Thank you to my fellow Lions who joined me to care for the trails.

The Wakefield Conservation Commission has been very fortunate to have had an interim secretary for the past many months as we looked for a perminate candidate. So far that hasn't happened. Please consider joining us twice a month and taking our minutes. It is a terrific way to learn about what is happening in our town, get to know some conservation minded people and make a few bucks to boot! Send a letter of interest to Dino Scala, the town manager at [email protected]. We really could use your help!!!
