JA in a Day! Students had the opportunity to participate in Junior Achievement in a Day, where they explored important life skills like money management, career readiness, and entrepreneurship through fun, hands-on activities. Our 4th-grade classes will go to JA BizTown next May. We love seeing our students learn skills that will help them succeed both inside and outside the classroom!

Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who took time out of their day to invest in our students, and a big thank you to Charlie's Chicken for providing lunch.

Mrs. Jacobs and Mrs. Wilsons class took on the pumpkin patch last Friday. Not only was the weather perfect, but the kids had tons of fun and made lots of memories. Thank you, The Patch at Sand Springs & Glenpool for having us. It was a great day!

Last week in science, Mrs. Cabes class learned about the differences between physical and chemical changes. Students participated in a fun (and smelly!) chemical reactions lab! They tested four different liquids—vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, lemon juice, and grape juice—to see how each reacted with baking soda. Students enjoyed observing the reactions and comparing their results as they explored how substances can change when combined!

Today our K–3rd grade students enjoyed a special visit from firefighters for some hands on learning about fire safety! Students even got a chance to tour a fire truck and learn all about the equipment firefighters use to help keep us safe.
