May is Older Americans Month and what greater way to show your support for Seniors than to give a sponsorship to the Washington County Senior Center. Scholarships are accepted from individuals, businesses, and organizations. Can you help put a smile on a Seniors face for the 2026-2027 year? Contributions may be mailed to P.O. Today we expressed how we, as Senior Adults, can "Champion Our Health". Check out some of the many ways WE CAN and WE DO here at the Washington County Senior Center. May is Older American Month and we have focused on a number of topics this month to improve our body, soul, and mind. Following this mornings activities, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Chester Dean's Buffet. We were joined by CSRA Area Agency on Aging Services Director, Ms. Debra Minor. She drove all the way from Augusta to join us in celebrating Older Americans Month. Thank you so much for coming and enjoying this special day!

Happy Older Americans Month from Washington County Senior Center!

What a gorgeous day to go on a trip! We had a baker's dozen today and found a few more old friends on arrival. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Home Fresh Bistro in Louisville, where the taco special of the day was a big hit! So many scrumptious choices on the menu that it was hard to decide what to order. After lunch, we headed over to Sunny Day Farms where most of us had dessert.....and oh my! Just look at my Strawberry Shortcake 👀 .... why everyone else did! 😂 I had quite a few taste testers! 😜 And if all this was not enough....we continued on over to Country Charm for a visit too! By the time we arrived, the fried pies were all gone. 😢 However, we found a few other wonderful items to bring home: chocolate covered peanuts, peanut brittle, cheese straws, dish towels, and more. What delightful weather we had today with just a slight breeze and perfect sunshine. Not too hot, or too cold, but just right! Hate Y'ALL missed the fun, but if you join us....you won't be left out! Hope to see YOU soon!
