General Primary Runoff Election

County offices are now open.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS CURRENTLY A POWER OUTAGE AT THE FOLLOWING OFFICES : TAX ASSESSORS, TAX COMMISSIONERS AND BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS. THE OFFICES WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL POWER IS RESTORED.

The sample ballots for the election run off are attached. The first is for Democrat District 2 only. Next is Democrat District 1,3 and 4. The third sheet is for all Republican, all districts.
The General Primary Runoff will take place on Tuesday June 16th with early voting June 8th until June 12th.

Today is the first day of the 2026 Atlantic Hurricane season. Although there is a chance of below average tropical activity, all it takes is ONE storm for it to be a bad season.

The Public Hearing to present the proposed operating budgets for the coming year will be on June 4th, 5.30pm in the Board Of Commissioners office. 119 Jones St., Sandersville.
