Dear Sandusky Elementary School Parents and Families,
Sandusky Elementary will be hosting a Veterans Day Program in the Sandusky Elementary gym on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 9:30 am.
You are cordially invited to attend this ceremony as we honor the veterans in our community. Please invite any veterans you know to attend.
In order to honor the veterans who are close to our hearts, I will be putting together a video slideshow of photos. If you have a friend or family member you would like to include in our slide show, please send in a high quality photo. Be sure to include the name of the veteran and how they are related to your student(s). You can scan and email to [email protected] or have your student bring it to school. Please have all photos submitted to Mrs. Keim by Saturday, November 1, 2026. (Photos submitted for the program in 2025 or before do not need to be re-submitted.) Feel free to message me if you want to confirm that I still have your picture, especially if you had a 6th grader last year as I remove pictures when students graduate or if you have a student that is new to the school (including kindergarten).
I would also ask that students wear red, white and blue to our program.

Attention all Boys in 3rd-6th grade! The Varsity boys basketball team will be hosting a skills camp every Saturday the month of November from 9:00-11:00 am. Permission slips are coming home this week and are due back no later than October 30th! Coach Hale and Coach Parski are looking forward to an awesome month of basketball in November!

A total of 27 SES runners finished the 2 mile Cross Country K-8 race at Ubly. Mia Pinkerton and Samuel Seifferlein earned medals. Many runners improved their times from the first race. Great job! They worked hard.

Any 6th grader interested in Quiz Bowl should get and return a sign up form from Mrs. Flynn or from the Elem office. Practices are on Mondays, competitions are on Tuesdays.
