☃They grow so fast - kids that is! If last year's gear no longer fits bring it by the library and try your luck with the winter clothing swap. This year's cold weather clothing may be waiting. Runs November 7 -28. Please be sure all items are in good condition (no holes or major stains), and that all mittens and gloves have their match.

🗽 Lady Liberty was dedicated on October 28, 1886. The Friends of the Library invite you to join Cara Sutherland, Sandwich author of "The Statue of Liberty ", on this 140th anniversary to learn about the statue's journey.
From raising the funds to create the project, to the vast engineering challenge of transforming a four-foot clay model into the finished 150-foot tall icon whose powerful meaning has been attested to by countless waves of immigrants arriving on our shores. 🗽

While the Summer Reading Program may have ended, we still have lots of fun activities in store for the end of summer before heading into the new school year. All are welcome to join Kasia & Diane for these youth events.

We welcome local author, Jennifer Anderson, who will read her book "Orange's Favorite Things" and joins Diane in exploring things close to our heart. Join us and share your own list of things that you adore!

It's a wrap! This Tuesday we celebrate a summer of youth reading with an ice cream social and the Summer Reading Program raffle prizes drawings. Plan to be outside weather permitting. The Old Home Week book sale will be happening right next door so come with friends and plan to make an afternoon of it downtown!

Lots of touching, learning about, and even cuddling of reptiles was happening for all ages yesterday when Morphs & Milestones brought their wonderful program to Sandwich. Thank you Nate, Brenda & Autumn for a terrific evening!🐍🦎
