Work will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. During this time, one northbound lane and the turn lane will be closed at the intersection.

As Election Day approaches, political signs are popping up across Sandy. We respect everyone's right to political expression and ask residents and campaigns to help keep our community safe and looking its best.

When placing signs:
- Get permission from property owners before placing signs on private property or attaching them to fences.
- Keep sidewalks and traffic visibility clear.
- Avoid attaching signs to utility poles or traffic infrastructure.
- Follow applicable state and local sign regulations.

Sandy City enforces sign regulations consistently, regardless of candidate or campaign, and follows state-required notification procedures before removing signs. If a sign violates city code, the city will notify the sign owner to remove it. If it is not removed after 5 days the city will remove the sign and hold onto it for 30 days for the sign owner to pick up.
Thank you for helping keep Sandy safe and welcoming this election season!

Thank you to residents who have reached out with concerns about sprinklers running during recent storms.
Sandy City uses smart irrigation systems that automatically adjust watering based on weather conditions to help conserve water. However, we've also experienced instances of individuals manually turning on sprinklers in our parks.
As temperatures begin to drop, our crews will also start winterizing irrigation systems. You may see sprinklers running as crews clear water from the lines to prevent freezing.
If you notice sprinklers running unexpectedly, please report it to police dispatch at 801-799-3000 so our crews can investigate.
We appreciate residents looking out for our parks and helping us use water responsibly!
