Lee County NC Emergency Management

Why did the power go off throughout Lee County!?!?!?

The power outage is due to a downed power transmission line in the Post Office Road area. Duke Energy has crews currently working to complete repairs, and Northview Fire & Rescue along with N.C. Forest Service are handling fire suppression. Any remaining power outages should be restored this evening.

Please reach out to Duke energy or your local power provider for further information.
