πŸš²πŸ›΄ E-Bike & E-Scooter Safety at WAMS! πŸ›΄πŸš²

Motor Officer Rodriguez and School Resource Officer Ayala recently hosted an e-bike and e-scooter safety course for students at WAMS during their lunch period!

Our officers covered important safety tips, including the importance of wearing a properly fitted helmet and understanding the responsibilities that come with operating an e-bike or e-scooter.

Students also learned about basic traffic laws and safe riding practices, such as:
βœ… Stopping at stop signs
βœ… Riding on the right side of the roadway
βœ… Using proper hand signals when turning
βœ… Following traffic laws and making safe decisions while riding

🚨 Safety starts with knowledge and responsibility! By practicing safe riding habits and following the rules of the road, students can help protect themselves and others.

A big thank-you to WAMS for giving us the opportunity to connect with students and promote safe riding in our community! πŸ’™

πŸŽ€ October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! πŸŽ€

The Sanger Police Department is proud to join fellow local law enforcement agencies in supporting the Central Valley Pink Patch Campaign and the Marjorie E. Radin Breast Care Center.

Throughout the month of October, you’ll see our officers wearing pink patches on their uniforms to show our support and help raise awareness for breast cancer.

πŸ’— Pink patches are also available for purchase at the Sanger Police Department lobby for just $10 each. All proceeds stay right here in the Central Valley and benefit the Marjorie E. Radin Breast Care Center, helping support local breast cancer patients.

Please join the Sanger Police Department in supporting this important cause and the patients and families in our community who are affected by breast cancer.

πŸŽ€ Together, we can make a difference!
