Last night we had the honor of being invited to participate in the Castleberry Independent School District homecoming parade. They had some fun decorating the engine before hand and got to ride up top for the parade route. The City of Sansom Park, Texas and the SPFD are proud to have such an amazing partnership with our local schools and district. Thanks to B-Shift for making the engine parade ready.

Yesterday’s conditions on the Hydra Fire in Bosque County became very challenging as the fire jumped containment lines and made a hard run to the N/NW doubling in size. The entire town of Meridian was evacuated (have since returned) as a precaution.

BT125 (ST183) along with other TIFMAS strike teams, local agencies, and aircraft were able to stop forward progression last night and keep it out of town. Today could prove to be another challenging day.
