In anticipation of our rebrand launch, we hosted our second Presidio Neighborhood Mixer, bringing together local partners, businesses, and organizations to celebrate the unveiling of the new logo and website.

It was a great evening filled with conversation, delicious bites from and a first look at what’s ahead. Afterwards, we invited our members to point out where their businesses live within the nine-block district on our new logo.

We are so grateful for everyone in the neighborhood and are excited to continue to share the next chapter of the Presidio Neighborhood!

Today, we share a new brand identity for the Presidio Neighborhood!

While the district itself still includes the same historic treasures, unparalleled architecture, and amazing spots to shop, dine, taste, and explore, the brand identity is fresh.

A new logo, colors, typography, and website pull together the 9-square block district into a vibrant whole. The layered history of the area remains central to the district’s identity, even as the new branding presents a more cohesive public face.

Since our founding in 1932, collecting and preserving the material and written history of the Santa Barbara area has been at the core of our institution’s purpose and that task is on-going to this day. Every year the Historical Museum adds to the ever-growing collections to better illuminate and share this rich history.⁠✨️⁠
